If you know anything about casting, you know that a spill or splatter of
molten metal is a hazard. All of the small industrial foundries that I have
visited have a layer of dry sand on the floors to reduce the splatter effects
should a small accidental spill occur.

Once again, DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!
Actually, if you did try that in this country, you just might find yourself
being led away in restraints to a nice safe place where you could live out
the rest of your years.
