cutter help

Now that the dividing head is done I need to make a simple cutter to make my index wheel. I just need a 'V' shape made in the disc so any help would be good.

You should be able to cut those with an ordinary end mill, with the corner of the mill cutting a little notch at 45° from the perpendicular (on the outside diameter, of course)

Another alternative might be any number of the dremel rotary tool bits intended for engraving, held in a collet chuck.

How about a drill mill like this. Also useful for beveling edges.
