Hello all
I am planning to use a RC carburator for my new engine that I am almost done with.
The engine is 4 cycle, 1” bore and 1.5” stroke with compression radio 6:1

What size carburetor is best with the above configuration and how well RC carburetor works with gas or Coleman fuel?
Do you have to make any modifications to the carburetor or can be used out of the box?

Thanks
Bora

One way to determine the carb is to go to a hobby site like Tower Hobby and find a 4 stroke engine of about the same displacement as yours ( 1.17 cu. in.) and buy the carb from. the spares section. From my experience, you probably don't want a carb bore of over 0.27". It sounds like a relatively slow running engine, so a smaller bore would probably work well. Perry makes excellent carbs and in an assortment of sizes. Cheap, too. http://www.perrypumps.com/prod01.htm
