Yep, Got one of those too. Found it on Flee bay a while ago.
Chomping out 4140 is not an issue.

Cheers

i have one of those, havent ever tried it on aluminum, mixed results with steel. seems like one tooth does most of the cutting on mine, dont know why, chinese?

I bought one in April 2008.

It works great for me.
I do need to run it as if it were a flycutter.
It will beat the mill up I try to push it too hard, but
turns out beautiful surface finishes when handled
properly.

It's fast becoming my "tool of choice" in the mill, whenever it's suitable, I find it works fine on all metals, and now I've graduated to a slightly bigger mill from the trusty X2 it eats steel and titanium for breakfast 8) ......... not tried stainless yet ......... as I don't have any ::) .......... it gives a good finish on anything imho if the feed and speed rates are in the right ball park.

Just my 2c worth, and, once you have one buying spare tips is far cheaper than replacing cutters on a regular basis too.

I have two sizes of these... 1.25" & 2". I use the 1.25" a lot.
