I'm flying up so bringing nothing to exhibit.
Could anyone here tell me what are the events in 2019 for model exhibition? More interest in IC engines.
Cabin Fever Expo is Jan 17-20 in Lebanon PA. The North American Model Engineering show end of April In Detroit MI.
CF is about 100,000 sq ft of display including engines, trains, boats. NAMES is 30,000 sq ft mostly engines. In my view if you can only make one of them its CF hands down. More exhibits, more vendors more variety. I plan to attend both.
There are many outdoor engine shows all summer, all over the country, some of them have a model area, but mostly they are full size engines.
Thank you Ron!
I will check those.
I will be attending, if you see an old guy, grey hair, beard, Black Wheelchair, likely Me.
I made it to CF this year and more importantly made it back in one piece. The one thing that sucks about these January dates is the snow. The nasty weather reports had me leaving early Saturday which wasn’t planned.
As always there was something new or more likely something I missed in previous years, to capture my imagination and engage in some good conversation. This year it was a guy with a marble pump.
There did seem to be a lacking of both vendors and people displaying their works. That is very likely due to the weather. Still the place was packed with visitors. It is too bad I had to run out after a quick tour.
