Air Regulator

I'm almost done with my liney RV-2 much like Chucks engine. I want to know if anyone have made a regulator for the air to the engine that will work like a carburetor. I want it be able to speed up the engine with a push of a rod not by turning a knob. If anyone could help It would be great. I will be posting pictures of the engine tomorrow.

I just use stock regulators ,and aquarium manifolds for my engines. I have seen plans for regulators but I think they all have screws to set the pressure.
IIRc a regulator is not much more than a ball valve a diaphragm a sping and a screw to set the pressure the spring applies to the diaphragm.
