Hi All,

Well surprise surprise its a Wobbler. well I suppose as i am very new to machining and need practice i thought why not start at the bottom.

I have made 2 blanks 1 for the cylinder and one for the mounting arm. its does not sound much except that the starting pieces were and least 3 times the size in all 3 axes. i was also trailing out my new glanze facemill to do the cutting, the first time cutting Brass in 17 years. now where have those years gone. :-[

Great start PeeWee. Is it one of your own design or from other plans? It looks like you got a good finish on those two pieces!!

Hi,

No not my own, using Elmers but converting to metric. I am happy with the finish, but still learning speeds/feed for best outcome.

Well, you can't go wrong with one of his designs! Looking forward to more

Great start, Ian. As someone said on an earlier post, "you can't have too many wobblers".
