There is a nice looking new 3 Jaw, 8 Deg Tapered, 160 mm chuck for sale on E at a seemingly reasonable price, which we are very interested in.
Question is how would we ascertain or establish, without actually installing and running it, that this is indeed a true spinning quality precision made tool deserving of our Machine ???
Without casting any aspersions on the Seller, whom we know only as the Gent selling it, we are unaware who the manufacturer was.
Any suggestions, advices or pointers to alleviate our quandary would be immensely appreciated
