I have finally found some "shed time" and got back into my Webster build.
I have 2 questions.
firstly , where can I source the gears (I am located in NSW Australia)
Secondly , the Viton orings for the piston rings , do I buy them in a kit or is it acceptable to cut and glue the oring.
also the plans I have for the Webster engine doesn't have the crank counter weight, is this an issue? It is nice to get back into the build , I have been side tracked with a restoration of a Bridgeport milling machine.

Kind Regards Matt

Also, I will be using a R/C carburettor , what would be the best size to buy.

Buy a viton o-ring, don't try to cut and glue one. A Traxxas Pro 15 is a good size. I bought my gears thru Berg Mechanical Components, in USA or Canada.---Brian

Matty--Have a look on my post about the "Rupnow Vertical Engine" on this forum. Quite a few Aussies are building it, and they are exchanging sources for gearing on that thread.---Brian rupnow
