HI all not started me new engine yet but i made this this week end I had seen plans for a clock stand so I decided to mack my own I can not yous a magnetic clock stand on my lathe as i had to mack up a adapter plate to fit the miford compound slid on to my lathe and the adaptor plate is 12MM thick aluminum sum time back i had a rummage in the scrap bin of a local engineering company and i cum a Cross thees see pic thought that they wood mack good parallels

HI SOS i got cut off total length of the bearing is 150mm right i made up a 8MM rod to fit in to the pre drilled holes the see pic then made up the clamps their made out of tufnol 12mm by 12mm at the end of both their drilled and ream M8 at the other drilled 4.2 MM for the clamping screw pics

Nice indicator holder.I wanted something to do this afternoon,I think I will go out to the shop and pop one out.
