K Kermit Guest Oct 11, 2009 #2 You might have some trouble with the stainless. Acid flux is needed when soldering that stuff. Don't even bother if it a rosin based flux. Then you'll have to clean it really well so the plain steel doens't turn to rust from left over flux.
