Brian's post about the Cookstown Steam Fair has me ready for show season.

The big one here is the Nittany Antique Machinery Association Show
in Centre Hall, PA.

I do have some pictures and videos from my last visit there.

I really liked this little John Deere engine.

It was a running display.

Another interesting engine was this big old one lung running
on propane.

Every time I've been to the Nittany Show they have had their
saw mill running. It is powered by this little fellow.

It has all the power required to run that mill.

My next favorite was this beautifully restored traction
engine.

I tried to get a video clip of it running but the man on the
tractor saw me pointing the camera at him and decided to
make some noise.

There has to be one in every crowd. :D

And naturally there are the model builders displays.

Now I'm looking forward to this years Fall Show
Sept. 10th - 13th.

Thanks for the wake up call Brian! Thm:

The videos aren't the best.
This year I'll take the wife's camera.

(As long as she catch me sneaking it out the door. :hDe:)

There is also a great exposition of beautifully cared for farm
equipment there like this 50 year old John Deere tractor.

OK so I'm still learning how to use that zoom thing.
Must have held that button a bit too long that time. ;)

If anyone here does attend the show, I'm easy to find there.
There is a food vendor at the bottom of the hill that sells
foot long meat ball subs. If I'm not there I'll be back within
an hour. :D

Oh Yes, I just love the tractor shows. In south central Wisconsin, one of my favorites is

Badger Steam and Gas Engine Club 46th Annual Show
August 21-23
Baraboo, Wisconsin
Website: www.badgersteamandgas.com

There is lots to see, traction and stationary steam engines, gas tractors and MODEL ENGINES too.

I'm also hoping to get to Albany Minnesota this year, my friend showed me pics from last year, looks real nice.

33rd Annual Albany Pioneer Days
September 18,19,& 20, 2009
