Hi Ryan,
I'd stick on the list the following,

Fly cutter - but you can make your own cheap and easy
images

Clamp kit - a lot of jobs don't need a vice and can be clamped directly to the table

Thin double sided tape - great for fly cutting thin sheet stuck to the mill table

Hi Ryan welcome to the world of spending all your extra cash on tooling ;D

Hi again Ryan
I have ordered a carbide replaceable tip face mill a bit like this https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Products?stockCode=M529 a is for facing too?
It certainly is, I have both.
The face mill I use for hogging out and facing steels, the fly cutter I use for aluminium because I can grind a tool with more back rake on it or more radius on the tip.
Don't worry about buying a fly cutter, it will make a great learning project later and while your at it make one with no down angle for cutting gears. ;D

any ideas on on the more popular dovetail angle 45/60?
I think 60° is more common, but others will be better informed.

Cheers
Phil
