This link will take you to the Hyperthrem site, they are starting a education section. I'm not pushing this brand, I will say that I own a 600. But most of the information can be used by any one that has a plasma unit. At least the major US brands, TD, Hyperthrem, Esab, Miller, Lincoln, Hobart.

It is also great if you are thinking about a choice between oxy/fuel or plasma.

I can not say if the offshore brands contain the same bits and pieces in the consumables.

Hyperthrem Cutting Institute

The Hypertherm Cutting Institute is an online classroom that provides information about Hypertherm's plasma products and plasma cutting in general.

Some of the areas covered:

Plasma Education
Plasma Cutting Technology
Reference Articles
Grant Information
Hypertherm Cutting Institute
Registration

Plasma or Oxyfuel
Published Articles
Training Workshops
Videos
Webinars
What is Plasma

Enjoy

By the way be prepared there is a quiz, at the end! ;)

Thanks for posting that site PT.

I have been using a plasma cutter for a long time and getting bye.
I learned a lot from the on-line classroom, namely speed of cut, angle of cut, and a few other tidbits that should improve my cutting.
