You CAN find supprising deals on old American Made machines if you're
willing to do a little detective work.
I was a public auction to bid on a lathe last summer.
The lathe ended up selling for over my self imposed limit, but there was
also an old Bridgeport there. I did bid on it for awhile before the reality
of how would I move it sunk in.
It ended up selling for $900
