Looking for a verticle muffler

I got my Breisch Olds running today. Loved watching it so much I hated to shut it off. Somewhere on some site I saw a thread where someone posted a photo of a muffler he made. It had an expanded sleeve that slipped over the inside pipe which had holes drilled into it. Anyone remember this? Wasn't long ago.

No sizes but here's the general idea

The end of the inlet pipe is blanked off inside the resonance chamber.

Yours is different than the one I remember but it works for me. I am still looking at 7x lathes. A few weeks ago we paid a tree company to cut down an stump grind a big weeping willow that was growing in the renters yard behind up. I had been bitching about the mess for years. So the lathe has been set back but I really get a lot of information from this site. Tom
