Yep I've seen it Eric ;D
Hi Brian, I think Jacques Vid' shows what I do in a way. (slightly different version I think?)
I'm not sure about the file types you-tube takes? but if it will not accept avi then.....
1/ I copy the video from my camera into 'my videos' file folder.
2/ Then I open the movie maker and 'import Video' and select the video I just saved onto my computer.
3/Edit the hell out of it ;D (purely optional)
4/ select 'publish to this computer' (save to ' my videos')
5/ wait s few min's and when finished look in your 'my videos' folder.... it shows up with the .wmv file
6/ go to my you tube account and select upload video (takes ages but eventually works)
7/ play the vid to check it all works. Select 'more info' then select the URL and paste on my post.
That's how I do it.... If between Jacques video and my little run through it doesn't work then we can look at something else
I found out to my 'time cost' that photobucket doesn't take very large video files.... took over half an hour and only uploaded 2/3 of my last movie!!!
Hope this helps? ;D
Ralph.
I just wrote all that and then checked... you tube supports Avie!!!!!!!!!!!
Upload your Vid' then when you play it, open the 'more info' tab to the right of the play screen next to your (usually cut short) description of your Vid'. Then copy the
URL that appears at the bottom of the description (highlight it by clicking the left mouse button once and then click once with the right mouse button and select copy) then using the right button on your post select paste... check using 'preview' and it should be there.!?! ;D
If Most of this is telling granny to suck eggs then I'm sorry... But it may help someone?
Ralph.
