Had a fantastic day at Harrogate and have come to 2 indisputable conclusions after having seen so much outstanding work :-
a) I merely hack at metal, have fun doing it, but hack nontheless, and
b) If the wife opens the boot of the car before I get the chance to stash everything into the garage I'm a seriously dead man LOL!
there was so much to see from a 7 1/4 gauge 2-10-0 (yours for 39, 950!) to the gas turbine engine builders stand.
building something that spins at 100,000 RPM looks like serious fun as well as serious engineering.
