There was mention of wanting to build a parting tool holder that uses broken hacksaw blades, so I thought I'd post my version in a place a little easier to see. I used a dovetail cutter to make slanted grooves to retain the hacksaw blade against the vertical surface, and made a notch to clear the teeth of the blade so that you don't need to grind any further than making a bit of top rake and end relief to make the groove you're looking for. This one is sized to take 1/2" tall hacksaw blades and fits 3/8" toolposts, but of course, absolutely none of the dimensions are critical. The photo shows it a little longer than the plan. Please excuse the messy dimensioning. Inch dimensions.
Tap the clamp bolt holes before milling the relief on the bottom surface as the holes intersect the vertical portion of that relief.
