Hello everyone,

My name is Jason, I work for a major software company out of the Silicon Valley area. I do some glass blowing as a hooby and accidentally ran into a thermal acoustic engine while I was looking for a way to add movement to some glass pieces I'm making. One thing led to another and here I am enthralled with all the engines.

I've never machined anything in my life so it's a bit scary but I'm looking forward to learning. It looks like I'll end up with a Sherline 4400 and their micro-mill as well (trying to buy American.) Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning a lot here and speaking with some of you soon.
