What is your Favorite Rust inhibitor or what works best for measuring devices?

Thanks, Jeff

What is a rust inhibitor? Where I live we have no use for anything by that name.

Rust inhibitor: A light coat of oil. Easy.

I use a 10-20 to 1 kero/cheap motor oil mix in a spray bottle. I find the kero spreads the oil when you spray it on, then evaporates leaving a nice light coat of oil. I use this for my all my tools and any bare machined surfaces on my machines.

The best I've ever used . . . "CRC-336", next bests LPS-1, Starrett M-1.
