When a Dro is advertised as having .0002" resolution is that going to be on the radius or dia?
If the display is set to dia. will the readout go by .0004" increments. I use a Newall at work on a hardinge that reads to .00005", The readout changes just by breathing on it. Those extra digits are more of a distraction than anything else for what we need. The cdco at about 500 $ sounds allright for home.

Thanks,

Kevin

The resolution should be a finction of the scale doing the reading meaning that the radius would measure as .0002" I would make sense then that display would increment by .0004" once set to diameter since this is an internal calculation.
