Double Pendulum

Howdy,

I haven't post anything in a while, just lurking now and then to absorb the wisdom of the group and enjoy the wonderful projects - besides it's cold out in the shop! I was intrigued by the double pendulum featured the the latest 'Home Shop Machinist' and was motivated to make a simple version just to see it work. It isn't a model engine, but it is interesting to watch anyway.

Hi Al,
Welcome back. I've been wondering where you got off to.

That's really got some interesting motions to it. It's really weird the way it seems to slow down then the end pendulum just suddenly takes off spinning.
