diamond cutting tools can be used for a lot of things. high speed finishing but do not use on steel.

They look like off cuts after having a piece wire cut from them. Did this at work occasionally but gave the off cuts back to the customer. The diamond "dust" must be held together with a conductive matrix to allow for wire cutting.
