Cam question

I'm in the process of building the fire eater from Anthony Davies plans. I'm stuck at the cam, there isn't really any dimensions and I'm having a bit of trouble on where to start on it. I laid out something i thought was close to it but just isn't quite right. My question is can somebody give me some tips on getting started with the cam? would be much appreciated.

I have not built a fire eater yet so cant help. but would you PLEASE post an intro thread in the welcome section . Not Required but it helps us all. folks are a lot quicker to help when they know a little about you . just the basics a little background of why you are here . what are your interests in model building and the area you live in.
The make model and serial numbers of your Lathe and mill could be helpful too, JUST KIDDING ON THE LAST PART !!
An intro would be nice though.
