As of may 1st Alibre will be increasing prices back to old leverels or so.
The new list prices will be:
Alibre Design Personal Edition: $199 software, $199 maintenance (optional)
Alibre Design Professional: $999 software, $299 maintenance (optional)
Alibre Design Expert: $1999 software, $399 maintenance (optional)
So personal edition price doubled Maintenance doubled
Pro from $ 699 to $999 Maint $299
Expert $1399 to $1999 Maint $399 all maint progs increased by $100 per year.
So if you have been thinking about buying an alibre CAD license or Maintenance package now would be a good time.
In the current economy of rising oil prices government cutbacks and talks of wage freezes seems a bit bold to me.
I would not be surprised if we see some "discount deals" in the coming months. Time will tell.
I just bought the $99 maintenance package for PE this allows me to upgrade from v 11.2 to 2011.6 and download upgrades for a year I think I can extend another year for $99 may look into it. Not sure.
