This is the contra piston to adjust ratio of compression in model diesel engine to
increase or decrease heat of compression who are affected by timing and temperature of ignition.

I have a 4-stroke model diesel engine that adjusts the compression by lowering/raising the crankshaft! The crank is mounted off-center in a round piece that can be rotated by means of a lever. [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWnvMGz8zYg[/ame]
