    Help tapping small threads, please

    Tap Magic for aluminum Best I have found so far,,, Do have two back out tap and clean chips ,I tap a total of 8 holes in a .250 x .500 x .800 Alum block 6 are length ways through block 2 though the .250 . I use a drill buy hand , 3mm tap.

    Thank you for your reply's , I was doing a google and found the end mill that I needed , They talked about 1/8" was what the cut depth was not the point size ,,So they don't make one for the type of cut iam doing , but could be used for type of cut when I find one that will fit ,,Harvey Tools...

    Yes there is ,,The controller used for my winches has a drag brake and will hold about 3/4 of the max weight ,,I don't see using my winch on anything heavier than 65 lbs ,,But it doesn't need AC for power ,,DC ,,, 11.1 volts really gets the winch going ,I normally recommend 8.4 volts ,,,Lipo...

    Thank you guys for all the info,, It has been very helpful ,,,My die holder has a hex type clamp head ,,, I will look for HSS die and better cutting fluid . I have been holding the 1/8th dia shaft in the chuck and the die in the tail stock and cutting threads on slow,,, under power ,,,
