My name is Tim W. in Roseville, Calif. I've owned a small lathe and shaper for several years now and have read this site for a long time. I will try to post when I have something worthwhile (I am just getting my feet wet with my first castings from Martin Model and Pattern).

I hope to build a large traction engine in this lifetime. My lathe is a mid-sixties Myford Super Seven. I have a WWII era Ammoco 7" shaper and an ancient Canedy-Otto bench drill.

I am building the small die-filer from Martin Models right now. My next project will be the versatile dividing head and then a Pillar Tool. I guess I'm hopelessly in love with my old loose copies of Model Engineer magazines from approx. 1949 to the mid seventies. I really enjoy the Edgar T. Westbury, Duplex, Martin Cleeve etc. articles.

Thanks for the great forum. Tim
