I am building Rudy K's Case tractor. Finally made a good boiler and now will try making gears.
I think I'll be okay with the spur gears but the steering pinion gear has me stumped. I have gear cutters for the spur gears.
Pinion has 16 teeth, blank diameter is 0.375 All gears are 48 pitch. Seems to me that this gear would be made on a lathe, similar to threading. Appreciate any help.
