I just bought a used sherline mill on ebay and when I turned it on, it is running in the reverse direction. I was wondering if there is a switch or something to change direction in the motor. Thanks!

Congrats on the new mill!
I don't have the answer for your problem, but I'll bet Sherline does. Give them a call in the morning and see if they can get you headed in the right direction.

If your speed controller is the newer square-shaped box about 4"x4", instead of the older 1.5"x4" flat speed controller, you have a DC spindle.(The better motor) The two motor wires on the speed controller board at terminals A+ & A- are reversed, switch 'em around.

Or, someone's installed a reversing switch? http://www.sherline.com/reverse.htm

Vernon is right, but do call Sherline and ask for Fred to help you...

Kudos for the new baby.
