I just bought a Mitutoyo finger indicator on Ebay. It came with one of the posts shown below but not the other one, or the knurled nut.

Does anyone know where to get these?

If not, do you know the thread size?

thanks
Frank

I measured one at work tonight and the Major Diameter was 9.86mm and the thread pitch was .5mm. I can get you a part number tomorrow (if I remember) and you can order them from any Mitutoyo repair facility, though you might jst want to make them. -Mike

#190318 - Stem, 4mm dia. ($7.40)
#190320 - Stem, 8mm dia. ($5.50)
#190321 - Stem, 9.5mm Dia. ($7.40)
#190322 - Nut ($4.30)
#902804 - 8mm stem and nut combo ($10.20)

Prices referenced are from a year 2000 CD-Rom. Call Long Island Indicator to see if they have/can get the parts if you don't have a Mit repair facility near you. As far as I can tell these parts only came with specific indicators, mostly in the early 1990's. I found two different thread major diameters in our indicator junk box last night but the thread pitch was the same on both. -Mike

Thank You very much for taking the time to look this up.

Frank
