I have recently acquired a Holbrook T13 lathe, in need of a few minor repairs, lead screw reverse is broken and 6 of the change gears are missing.
As you can see from this page of the manual the lathe will cut Diametrical Pitches, Metric Pitches and BA threads just by changing the input to the gearbox. The question is how do I work out the gears that would be most useful for cutting Module pitches? Using Marv's change program I can get very good approximations with the gears I have but are there other gears that would give exact conversions? While I have to make 6 gears it is no trouble to set up and make more to cover the full module range.
