Not wanting to hijack the Lynx trad already going...
I just receive Model Engineer magazine for 6 euros and it actually contains the drawings and the build notes.

Anyway just looking at the engine picture, and considering the location of the belt tensioner, it appears that the engine is designed to turn CW.
Unless something has changed from my Control Line flying days 55 years ago,
all model airplane engine were running CCW.

CW propellers are not that common, what gives?

Hi Mauro, just letting you know that the picture on the front of the magazine is a mirror image, the exhaust actually comes out the other side, and yes, it does run counterclockwise.

Paul.

Tricky! I shudda have looked at the drawings.

But then when I look at the head drawing I believe there is a problem with the carburetor flange. I trigged the drawing and it looks like the flat on the head is shorter than (24mm) than the flange 26mm. The flange holes are tangent to the head flat, which is just OK as long as the screws do not interfere with the head screws.

Just checking before cutting.
