Hi All
Been lurking for a while now , so here goes.
Mechanical engineer mostly in the defence industry, now working in the power industry for a company making oil burners. Done 15yrs voluntary work at Crofton Beam Engines ending up as chief mechanical engineer, and diesel engineer at Twyford Waterworks.

Restored and run my own engines: Lister D type, Norman T300 marine, T300 genset and a Norman SC. Made a Stuart 10h and a GLR boiler set for it. Other interests are old primus/optimus stoves, collecting old books mostly on technical side of steam, would like to make a clock at some time (no pun intended) I think that just about covers it all.

Hello lazyman ...

(why do I suspect thats an ironic name ?)
Took a quick glance at Crofton.. you get to play with an early B & W engine
...looks like a super place - one I was unware of. Only a couple of hours drive away from where I am (Worcs). You never know I might be on for an outing one sunny day.
