Lubricators

Hi have any of you clever lads got a simple design for a mechanical lubricator that does involve ratchets or clutch type bearings.

You could built a ratchet type lubricator but without the ratchet. Internally it is a small oscillating pump that the ratchet drives. You could make the container with the oscillating pump inside and then drive it through a gear reduction from the crankshaft. The only drawback is that it would have to be piped from near the crank up to the inlet pipe.
