ronald if you look at tins avitar it tells you down new jersy, you might want to put some info in your avitar just so people know were you hail from.

The shows I do are a bit of a trek for you but you are certainly welcome. my location is listed just under my avatar. down Jersey is local slang for the southern part of New Jersey. As I am not a mind reader it is much easier if folks post there location it helps us help you.
If you need help putting info in a personal text(the message under the avatar) or signature line just ask. will be glad to help.

Hey Tin and Cheep45,
I have been to a lot of shows, but never to Kinzer's. Maybe this year! Do you guys display models or larger engines at Kinzers? I do make it a point to attend the mid June show at the Coolspring Power Museumt. 250+ old engines on permanent display (mostly LARGE engines). A great place for engine buffs, and plenty of inspiration for model projects.

Jeff

the museum has a large collection of full size engines .Also folks bring in engines of various type for the shows . mostly hit and miss and steam traction engines(tractors ) as well as antiue gas powered tractors . the museum has an operational steam shovel as well. and there is the little too railroad for kids and a shay that caries passengers around the 50 acre site.
There is also a model shed where several of us from here and the club bases at the museum show models . There are steam lines and air lines available. The model shed is a small part of the show. but usualy packed in recent years.

I'm really interested in taking the kids to this - but I don't see the exact dates anywhere. The 2013 dates are there, but no April 2012 dates? Unless I really am going blind.

Thanks for any help!

Tater, the 2012 show has already taken place. They are moving the show until later in the year beginning in 2013.

Hello Tater!

The Cabin Fever show for 2012 was in February. The shows for 2013 and beyond are in April.

The show in april of 2012 is the NAMES show in Michigan.
