I am new to this group. After many years I have finally decided it is time to build a working model engine. My choice for my first project is the Webster. I cannot find a source for bulk spark plug wire and I need a recommended size. Also does it have to be shielded? Thanks for any help.

Bill,
Many of us use silicon insulation test lead wire. It comes in a big variety of sizes and is relatively inexpensive. If you just need a few feet, using get it from S/S machine supply the ignition system that many of us use.

It is the fourth item down in the right-hand column on the page. Size is not too important if the wire is not laying against metal surfaces where the insulation could break down with the high-voltage. Most any size will work fine if the wire is in open air. It does not need to be shielded.

You use the word bulk, so if you really want longer lengths of wire you can get in in bulk from Testpath.
