Hello: I wish to make a few small gears for my model engines using a vertical milling machine. I am somewhat familiar with the procedure after having researched the subject on this site. It appears that I will need a dividing head to accurately make gears. Before I order one, I was hoping to get some opinions of an Enco dividing head. (203-4010) Are there any members who use an Enco? If so do you recommend it? If not what do you recommend? Your advice will be greatly appreciated. :-\

Thanks, Jerry.

Hi Jerry, I have a dividing head similar to the Enco 203-4000. I cut gears with it quite often. It works fine for the sizes I am working with. I went to the Enco part number you listed and it seems like it is similar to the one I have, just larger. I guess you would need to figure out your size requirements and buy accordingly.
