I'm thoroughly impressed! Did you replace the acme screws with ball screws? Also, did you say those are servo motors or steppers?

I love CNC's of all kinds. Just love to watch them and play with them. I know some folks hate them--they're not "real" machining or what not. But you sure can do some amazing things with even a simple one.

Yes, I used 5/8" ball screws with double ball nuts on x and y. Z has a single ball nut.

I used DIY servo's (surplus DC treadmill motors with added encoder) and gecko 320 drives.
