Hello i am new to model engineering having made just a few engines from kits. Having seen some of the models you talented people have produced i would love to give it a go from scratch . So have decided on buying a lathe i have looked around the internet and have decided on the Chester Conquest Lathe . Has any body had any experience with these lathes . I would be grateful for any comments before i spend the money. Thank you Rob :)

Rob:
that lathe is a seig sold under many different brand names and colors all over the world.

I started with one like it

It is a good little starter lathe. They do lack some of the features of larger professional lathes they require a bit of adjusting and some upgrades are helpful .
