About 20 years ago I bought a second hand Mitutoyo 6" dial caliper, and I loved it!
After 7 years I sent it out to be reconditioned.
Now it was beginning to get tired again, but there's no shame in that.
Today I bought a new set. For $60!
A guy at work happened into an eBay deal on new and used tools and is selling them
at the shop. I'm happy with the 40% discount, and even though you need to check the
ZERO everytime on the old one, I now have a better caliper to use at home as well.
