New 2.5cc model diesel design and build.

Ed, as you know I did build one of your engines, and I did get it to run, for a short while. I ended up bending the conrod, as you were probably expecting, due to my use of an electric starter. However, I have just finished making a new rod, and mixed up some new fuel, and it now starts easily...

A tiny diesel design of .020 c.i. capacity the Wee Dee

ED, I'd like to say I am interested, but it is too small for me! My sausages/fingers are having a hard time manipulating small things these days. Pat(Holly Buddy builder)

WTB used busybee lathe 9 or 10x18

A little help from a son in law. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I removed as many items as is easily removed.

Lister CS 6/1 Diesel Engine at 3" scale

Gus,I can't say for sure how many rpm, but it was slow, about 100 maybe. The lathe has a variable speed, so I adjusted for best cut, least noise!!

Brian, why did you set the rotary table to 300? I am needing to make some new cams also for the Lister and its sister. Also what increments ,in degrees, did you use?

I sold my lathe and milling machine, and am going to replace them with 2 new machines. I have to pick them up in the next week and get them installed and running. BusyBee...

    twin for a mahogany boat

Check with your local(if any!) aircraft repair shop. "Alodine" is what you want to prep alum. with. You will not need much, just wipe some on the alum, wash off with acetone, prime and paint. I am a lover of mahogany boats. Yours looks great. The engine is also impressive, I will be checking...

    Lister Diesel engine build

Been working on pump and injector and new head. I think the steel head will be a big help. The pump put out 50psi(3.5 bar) tonight, a long way off the 50 bar that was suggested as maybe being required.
