You have made a lovely job of the Clayton. I am trying to draw the Clayton in solid works at the moment and I am using the model engineer articles but I cannot find any ref to the slide shaft bearings. Do yo have the details of the bearings or can you tell me where you found the details.

I would be happy to import the files into Alibre and save them in Alibre format and then post them back on the website. I could get it done this week if anyone is interested

You can import these files into alibre. File Import show all files, select a file to import and alibre can open it and then you save it as an Alibre file.
I have just downloaded the Part1 and was able to view the first file.

I would get a disk caddy and try the drive. We do it all the time at work to recover customer data. If the drive working you will be able to get the data off the disk.
If not there are data recovery companies that will be able to recover the data. Expensive but if you need the data...
