So I was big into steam engines several years ago. I took a break just as I had gotten a forced circulation boiler mostly working. Well I recently got back interested in steam engines and went to revisit my old boiler, and I realized the water tank is WAY too small for the coils and firing rate I was aiming for. It was just a foot or so of 1-1/2in steel pipe. That would explain why I couldn't get reliable water level readings and why my steam pressure would drop so fast.
So I'm looking for an easy way to come up with an unfired water/steam tank of about a gallon or two, 100psi max steam pressure. I just need a port on the bottom, top, and middle.
