You folks have been a terrific resource, and I'll start with a thank you!

I am looking for a reasonably priced source of retaining rings, specifically right now 'E-Ring' clips, turns out my hardware store no longer has them available for 1/8" shaft. So I am looking for a supplier of small quantities.

Check out Spae-Naur. They sell the clips you are looking for, and also small insertion tools that are way overpriced but work like magic. (I have one tool for 1/8" e-clips and one for 3/16" e-clips.---Brian

Ended up getting 300 ring of various sizes, from 1/16" upward. each size with more than enough for most any two-three projects. Harbor Freight under $10 for all 300! Downside is they are black plated and being Chinese, may not have been Post Baked to reduce the Hydrogen Embrittlement.

Guess what, then when putting them away I found the 100 of each size and in Stainless Steel, damm this getting old.
