Kenny asked about this tool in the lathe show & tell thread so here's some pics. It's used for drilling small parts in a drill press. I enlarged the one John Moran (Gadget Builder) shows on his website and really like it. It has a heavy base made from scrap cast iron so it has enough mass to be very stable when hand held. It has a vee-groove on one end with a pressed-in, hardened drill bushing to quickly and accurately drill a hole in small round stock. The other end is a vee shape for flat stock. I'm proud of the knob since it was one of my 1st projects in the spin indexer.:)

Marv Klotz made a really nice one with some other useful features I'd like to add to mine.

Thanks for showing how that works. No wonder I can't get little holes in the center, I don't have one of those.
