    Source for oil lite bushings.

As a confirmed and unrepentant recycler I thought to pass along this hint. If needing small oil lite bushings maybe looking no further than an old drill motor, electronic appliance, or similar for reusable bushings. Remaching free material is a small price to pay.

    Measuring compression.

Since troubleshooting small engines seems to come up regularly, I was wondering if a compression gauge would have any meaningful numbers? Such as spinning an engine over with a drill motor. Might help someone find a problem.

    OT-Worth the price of admission.

I had to assemble a dial that was friction held to be resettable to "0" with 3 ball bearings. Could not hold all three at the same time and had to come up with something. This works turning a frustrating job into an easy one, zip tie all together.

    Tangential tool wood results.

    Electronic Ignition for mowers.

Now and then I can run across LawnBoy 2 cycle push mowers for cheap or even free. The electronic ignition fails quite reliably with no known parentage to Lucas.
