been messing with lost foam casting in aluminum with no success, I’m using that blue insulation foam, and when I pour the charge there’s a violent reaction in the mold with lots of smoke. When I shake out the casting it’s full of voids. Wrong foam ?

This actually started out as a Deppenbusch, but I changed the water hopper and added a Duclos cam, governor, head, and valve gear. It’s filthy in the photo because the guy I sold it to was running in a show all day and it quit, turned out to be the points shorted out from over oiling.

I’m currently in the middle of my third Deppenbusch engine, I was bored and it’s an easy engine to build and modify. I was checking out the forums thinking that I’d find some interesting deviations from the plans, but the only posts that I could find were my own, doesn’t anyone build this one ?

I found iCloud Drive in accounts and settings, it says that it is on, but I have no icon for it on my screen.

Ok, I tried it again and paid attention. When I hit save to files it goes to something called iCloud Drive, but I don’t have an icon for that either.

I went to settings, there is no “files “ there is notes and books, and it’s not in either one of those.

I’m not looking for anything in particular, I just figured the sub forum was full of plans and I’d just scroll through them until something caught my eye.

There was a prompt on my screen that said save to files, I tapped on it and it blinked, but when I went looking for it I discovered that I have no icon marked files, so I don’t know where it went.

I went through the plans sub forum page by page today and it seems like 95 percent of it is people looking for plans. What actual plans I did find wouldn’t download, and most of the links I clicked on took me to a site that was peddling a strange mixture of car engines and gardening tools. I’m...

I can’t seem to download these plans, when I try, it says open in outlook. So I downloaded outlook, but that just seems to be some kind of messaging app and I still don’t have the plans.
