I’m currently in the middle of my third Deppenbusch engine, I was bored and it’s an easy engine to build and modify. I was checking out the forums thinking that I’d find some interesting deviations from the plans, but the only posts that I could find were my own, doesn’t anyone build this one ?

049B2748-CC24-4AE2-99E6-CBE997F04AFC.jpeg This actually started out as a Deppenbusch, but I changed the water hopper and added a Duclos cam, governor, head, and valve gear. It’s filthy in the photo because the guy I sold it to was running in a show all day and it quit, turned out to be the points shorted out from over oiling.

I later built one as per the prints, the one I’m building now I scaled up 20 percent . I still have the ignition to sort out, then try to fire it up, then tear it down for the finish work.
